This has to be one of the most fun and inventive Engagement Shoots I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing. Whilst I love doing more conventional Engagement Shoots too, it really gets my creative juices going when a couple come with their own ideas. Steve & Jade came to me looking to create some band posters that would be put up in The Crowne Inn during their wedding reception. Jade’s sister is actually quite good friends with Miss Aniela and her early multiplicity shots were the inspiration behind the shoot. If we isolated them on white seamless we could pull various images out and create a band on the stage, and posters featuring all the band members.
They both came with two “characters” each that we’d photograph in a multitude of situations and poses, and then they both got changed to become their next character, then we’d splice them all together to form the Duffinsons! I can only take credit for the photography, and Steve did his design wizardry on the posters to get them looking so amazing. If you need any design or web based work then check out his company Spriteworks as they do some really really top class work.

Thanks Chris for bringing a quirky idea to life! Glad you enjoyed it as much as we did. The end result is better than we could have hoped for.
