I live here due to my love of all things tea based. I’d go insane without my five true loves; photography, film, my beautiful fianceé Ruth and my two cat based pets Lola & Smudge.

Having tried my hand at architecture and being told whilst my buildings always looked great, they’d have trouble actually staying upright I always felt something more creative and less restricting would suit me better. Inspired by Scorsese and the New Hollywood crew, I went to Film School fully motivated to become the next great filmmaker. It’s amazing to see how masterful directors can dictate audiences mood and feelings merely using framing and lighting. Photography crept up on me when in hindsight it probably was a blindingly obvious next step. Unlike some photographers, I unfortunately haven’t been shooting pictures since I was 2 years old or come out of the womb snapping photographs. Photography however, has always been a huge part of my life having grown up around my Dad who’s missing from many of our family photos due to spending most of the time behind the camera documenting our lives. Upon completion of my degree one thing led to another and I found myself on the path to becoming a photographer without ever really planning to become one.
Having spent two summers travelling round Europe and then down the west coast of California I truly fell in love with photography and documenting my life as it unfolded. I began to understand why it was so important to my Dad to be behind the camera so much when I was younger. Life goes by rather quickly these days and we’re less and less inclined to stop and look around when things get hectic. © Ferris Bueller.

Outside of Photography my loves include : film, travelling, the sopranos, boardwalk empire, my kindle, new experiences, the smell of rain on tarmac, las vegas, kettle chips, my two best friends Lola & Smudge and of course my Fiancée. Most of all I love sharing my finished photographs with my clients at the end of the process, it makes all the sweat and hard work that goes into everything I do seem worthwhile.
